Ranking Member Mike Lee on October Jobs Report

WASHINGTON—Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), Ranking Member of the Joint Economic Committee, made the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the economy added 261,000 jobs in October:

"Two years of bad policy decisions by the Biden Administration have left Americans struggling to keep up. Real wages are falling, prices are rising, and this month's job growth is insufficient to bring back the millions of workers still on the sidelines. Over 10 million jobs remain unfilled across the country. It's time to return to the pro-growth policies that work for American families."

The Joint Economic Committee is Congress's bicameral economic research center and home of the Social Capital Project, led by Ranking Member Mike Lee.
