Women's Entrepreneurship Is Growing Rapidly

The number of female entrepreneurs in the U.S. is rapidly increasing, making up nearly half of all new business owners in 2021. The businesses women create are a critical source of economic opportunity, creating jobs and introducing new products into the marketplace. Importantly, female entrepreneurs represent a diverse group of women from a variety of backgrounds, preventing the benefits of entrepreneurship from being monopolized by any one group and more widely sharing the economic benefits these businesses bring.
