JEC Hearing on Innovation and Job Growth in the Life Sciences Industry (May 25)

D.C. – The U.S.
Congress Joint Economic Committee (JEC), chaired by Senator Bob Casey
(D-PA) will hold a hearing, titled
“Driving Innovation and Job Growth through the Life Sciences Industry,” on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 10:15
am. The hearing will focus on the key role the life sciences
industry plays in enabling innovation and job creation in our country. Additionally, the hearing will explore new
policy actions that can incent additional Research & Development (R&D)
in the life sciences industry and examine the role the federal government plays
supporting R&D.
