JEC Hearing: The Economic Outlook w/ Hon. Christina Romer
Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Congress Joint
Economic Committee, chaired by Representative Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY),
will hold a hearing, titled “The Economic Outlook,” on Wednesday, July 14,
at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Christina Romer, Chair of the Council of Economic
Advisers, will testify on the short- and long-term macroeconomic outlook and
will provide an analysis on the impact of the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act on economic growth and job creation.
